My goals are as simple as microstock photography gets.  Get a large portfolio and get more downloads.

Info: 123RF only has about 1/4 of my total portfolio right now so hitting 100 and 250 should be fairly simple.  I would like to get that done as quickly as possible so I can focus all my attention on hitting 500.

Info: Bigstock was an agency I have barely tested yet produces great results so far.  I’m really hoping to get this caught up to 250 images soon so I can see if it produces at the same level with more images.  If so, I’ll be pushing this to 500 and 1000 too.

Info: Canstock is a bit of a non-money maker for me right now.  I upload there because it’s not *too* hard - but I need to see more return on this before I make the leap to 500.  I have around 130 ready to go there so if those are approved, I could pass 200 and then 250 very quickly.

Info: I’ve just begun uploading to Crestock.  I sent around 70 or 80 images through so we’ll see how this new agency goes.

Info: Dreamstime is one of my best agencies so I need to get my gallery here caught up to the bulk of my work asap.  In total I have around 220 images or 230 images that are on one site or other and I’d like to get them synched up as close as possible and pass the 250 mark with Dreamstime in a short time.

Info: Fotolia is another of my favorite and best selling sites.  Fotolia has a fairly complete collection of my submissions up until the last few batches so I can get it caught up and hopefully over 250 quickly and I will definitely try to push Fotolia to 500 and then 1000.

Info: I actually had 71 on Istock but they’ve taken 3 older ones down.  I have temporarily suspended my uploading to Istock as their process frustrates me (no FTP, categories a pain).  Until I have more time and fewer images to work on, I’m done with Istock.

Info: Shutterstock is my best selling agency and although the review process frustrates me immensely at times, I need this one to work to even keep going on microstock so I’m stuck doing what they want me to.  I just passed a mini goal (200 online) and would love to just fly through 250 and onto 500.

Another of my very smallest portfolio sites, I’m hoping a huge jump in images approved in my portfolio will make a huge jump in sales as well.  10x sales would still only be 10 however.  It’s a start.

I’ve uploaded about double my portfolio already and am awaiting it’s approval or denial.  Here’s a stark fact however - I’ve had exactly one image download in all of 2008 with 73 images in my gallery.  Compared to every other site I submit to, this is the lowest $ per image and if the new batches don’t help, this will be the first one off my list.

I didn’t realize how happy I would be to get 10 downloads per site but if I do, I’ll have dramatically increased sales on 90% of my sites.  Crestock is new to me so I have no idea what to “guesstimate” for sales.  I will hope for the best and adjust as I go along.

Fotolia makes me good income per download but not enough to think 6 DL a month is adequate.  If I want to go from Nil to Mil, I’m going to definitely need to step it up on Fotolia.

Microstock has a simple formula - the more you work, the more you get for it.  I’m not planning to spend time or effort on Istock so I don’t expect Istock to help me much or increase my income a lot from now until I upload more images here.

No clue what to expect for numbers here yet.  The site looks “fun” but I’m not sure it attracts buyers or photographers more with the layout.  It seems odd to navigate so we’ll see if that works against it.

Most of my income and thus most of my focus is on Shutterstock.  My goal of 200 downloads for March and 300 for April is a stretch but both are possible.  If I can reach them, I assume I can increase 100-150 downloads per month.
