iStock royalty changes, part 3

Filed in The Microstock World 6 comments

I know iStock put out a new post yesterday regarding royalty changes.  I don’t have time to address that statement this morning but I wanted to acknowledge it and put this line out for now:

this is the system we need to go forward with, and there isn’t any flexibility for now.

This is here to stay, folks.  If you don’t like it, it’s time to start looking into other options.

I’ll update with my thoughts on kk’s whole statement as soon as possible.

One of the things, that really bothers me is the feeling of arrogance…, I can’t really stand that.

#4 R. Jegg :

I think the only way is to stop the supply to Istockphoto in order to show them, that 20% is not a lot, but a further decrease is not acceptable.

I hope a lot of photographers will join this movement and stop the image upload on Istockphoto. If there are enough supporters it can be that Istockphoto will quit the plans for 2011.

Who of you will support this idea?
