I?m sure you?ve already noticed at least one upgrade – me posting more again!? I told you I?d be back.? So tell a friend – heck, tell three.? The next few months here are going to be EXCITING and I want people to know about it!

Another upgrade – post ratings.? At the bottom of each post is a ?Rate this post? with some stars.? 5 stars = best.? 1 star = WTF?? Use them please!? Use them honestly too – I?m not afraid of harsh ratings or critiques on the blog content.? I will use this information to write better, more interesting posts based on what you guys are interested in.?? If you let me know, I?ll make adjustments.

Better spam protection – sorry for the comment spam if you?ve had to view any of it lately.? I had a bunch when I came home but I cleaned up, upgraded Akismet, added some blacklist IPs and words.? We should be very well protected now from that stuff.? Commenting is easy here – no Captcha – and I?d like to keep it that way.

A sitemap will help Google find us.? That should spur even more discussion here.

One downer – I?ll be adding Google ads to the blog sometime over the winter.? I have to be able to justify spending this much time here.? I?m also looking for paid advertisers with set blocks – so maybe it will be better content than Google.? There?s going to be no short-term change but look for something to change over the winter.

So that?s that – a few front end changes.? I made some on the backside too so it will be easier to manage, publish and write posts. Hopefully we?ll create a better experience all the way around.
