I think obsession is not a motivation but maybe the result of many of your motivations coming to a head. As far as momentum: it's absolutely 100% needed. Very key. I think that passion is very important and which drives most of successful people. Microstock is a strange beast but I think by finding a niche you like and by improving the level of the pictures to compete with the best is a good think to increase earnings. But I agree you have to be a bit obsessed :) Last summer sales were not bad so hopefully this year will be the same ! Interesting post and view.
