Total Earnings: $440.55
That’s a number I can live with. Granted it doesn’t get me a lot closer to the “mil” portion of this goal but it also represents an increase over August of $13 and an increase over last Sept of $31. I upload no new photos, keyworded nothing and submitted not a dang thing. So an increase in my earnings with no new work is definitely motivating and exciting.
As always my fully detailed results are in my Google Spreadsheet here.
Well, the summer is almost over and I’m almost back to work. September represents the next-to-last month of me not able to focus on microstock. That being said I’m always happy if I make a few dollars anyways.
Specific results that are important:
Shutterstock finished +$74 from last month. I would expect something more in the middle like $160 for October.
Dreamstime was way down but Fotolia was up. I can’t wait to see what happens with Bigstock since the SS acquisition.
NO BMEs for the first time since I started tracking stats – that’s a little disappointing but gives me some new goals and motivations. I’d like to have one month set EVERY BME just so I had a guideline to improve from.

Hi,
you have big portfolio, why you don’t upload it on IS ?
Hi
My September earnings (Monthly cashed-out earnings) were rather poor, only $100, October earnings are looking better, I’m hanging onto my SXP balance for a large payout request after istock take over photos.com & Jupiter with their partner program.
*Back to the Beer brewing now…!!
@ Bartek – he doesnt get it all on IS because he ’sucks at IS’. ;o)
@ Matt – at least there is improvement, even if its only $13! – You are still bringing in over $400 per month. That’s $400 per month more than if you didnt bother at all. Keep up the good work.
Matt
I do have one question though…
Why do you continue to upload to YayMicro? You appear to have spent time uploading over 3000 images and have not one euro to show for it. I believe you might call that one a dead duck?
Steven
One of my goals when this wedding season is done is to get on the IStock trip. I’ll be uploading at least 25 there this month via Lookstat and will do more as soon as I’m able. I am going to TRY not to suck at Istock.
As far as Yay – it’s a fairly simple process and I’ve made money I just can’t cash it out yet. Once I can, I’ll have made a very small amount but I believe Yay can grow and I’d rather have older, more seasoned images in that case. Especially since I produce new stuff all the time.
Hello! I enjoyed reading your blog. As a new microstock contributor, it’s always good to read about other peoples’ success. Gives me hope for the future!
